Municipal theatre of Merano
The municipal theatre of Merano: Built in 1900, this beautiful theatre has a neo-classical façade with decorative Art Nouveau elements while the interior is held entirely in the Art Nouveau style. Next to the Merano Kurhaus, this building, that was quite renowned up until First World War, can be considered the most important example of Art Nouveau in town.
The Landesfürstliche Burg
You'll find this small castle built in 15th century right behind the town hall. It contains an exhibit of historical weapons as well as a collection of antique musical instruments.

Christmas market
The Christmas market: From November 26th, 2010 to January 6th, 2011 this wonderful traditional market in the city centre of Merano will again attract both young and old.
