The Christmas Market in Merano/Meran magically lights up the eyes of the visitors who marvel in awe at the festive atmosphere on the Passer promenade. There you find a variety of wooden stalls, beautifully lit, with produce and artefacts from regional and international artists and producers.
Artefacts made out of wood, leather, wool, clay and glass, culinary specialties like “Speck” (smoked bacon), “Kaminwurze” (smoked sausage), home-made juices and jams, honey and freshly baked cookies as well as beautiful Christmas decoration – here you find everything you could wish for at Christmas.
But the Christmas market in Merano/Meran is not the only one, which is well worth a visit. Also the other Christmas markets in South Tyrol – such as the one in the medieval town Glorenza/Glurns or the one in Bolzano/Bozen, Bressanone/Brixen, Vipiteno/Sterzing and Chiusa/Klausen – make for a magical atmosphere. Spend a magical holiday in the Hotel Burggräflerhof and visit the Christmas market in Merano/Meran – it is worth it!
Welcome to the blossom season!
