In the ski area Merano 2000, situated only few minutes’ drive from our Hotel Burggräflerhof in Merano/Meran-Alta Maia/Obermais, winter dreams come true. The familiar ski area on the sunny high plain above the spa town is ideal for leisurely skiing, for beginners and those looking to start again; here everyone finds the ideal run for his or her level. The sunny hills around Merano/Meran also offer many routes for sledging, cross-country and snowshoeing. Spend joyous hours in the snow, on the many winter walks, the perfectly prepared cross-country track and the two toboggan runs, ideal for couples and families alike.
Those who are a little bit more ambitious, may find the ideal ski area in the Senales/Schnalstal glacier, situated about 30 minutes’ drive from our hotel. Here, you can enjoy spectacular views over the snowy peaks of the surroundings while downhill skiing, because of perfect slope conditions and radiant sunshine!
